NH Wines: exclusive top-quality wines from France

NH Wines Ltd - wine-lover extraordinaire Nick Lowe, and wine writer Helen Savage - are delighted to offer exclusive, top-quality wines from France. We’ve chosen each estate to illustrate all that’s best about its region - these small, individual producers craft great wines, packed full of character. This web site has now been updated with wines from our new list, and includes three new mixed cases for Spring 2009 (see below).

You’ll find something to suit every taste among the wonderful wines of Pierre and Frédéric Becht in Alsace, and two producers in the south-west of France, Pierre Carle of Château le Chabrier, (Saussignac and Bergerac) and Château Croque Michotte (St Emilion) and Francis Blanchard of the Domaine des Allégrets (Côtes de Duras). As well as a number of established favourites, you’ll now find some superb new wines from Château le Chabrier and Château Croque Michotte, described in more detail on their respective pages.

You won’t find any of our wines in the supermarkets or wine shops (although we did discover recently that Nicolas shops had bought a small quantity of a wines from Croque Michotte – and sold it at a price far higher than ours!).

We import directly from small, quality-minded producers who take a special interest in sustainable viticulture (Pierre Carle’s wines are also certified organic).

You may find cheaper wines in some supermarket or some other, far bigger wine clubs. That said, although the poor exchange rate between Sterling and the Euro has forced us, like everyone else to raise our prices a little, we think that not only find you’ll find our pricing very competitive, but we’re also convinced that our wines knock spots off anything you’ll find for the same money. We’re really proud of them and hope that you will enjoy them as much as we do.

You can, of course, make up your own order from our list, or you can chose one of our three Spring special offer cases. Deliveries in Tyne and Wear are free, and there’s no minimum order.
